About Angie
Angie has been part of the taxi industry since 2009, bringing over 16 years of experience and excellent knowledge of the local area. Her understanding of the region and dedication to her work make her a valued and trusted member of our team.
In addition to handling bookings and answering enquiries over the phone, Angie also spends plenty of time behind the wheel. She’s incredibly hard-working, always willing to go the extra mile to help customers and meet their needs — no request is ever too much trouble.
Born and raised in Cleethorpes, Angie is truly local and well-connected with the community. Friendly and approachable, she’s easy to get along with and enjoys a good chat with passengers.
Outside of work, Angie has a big love for animals — especially horses and cats — and spends much of her free time riding her horse and enjoying the outdoors.
About Neil
Neil first joined Caistor Taxis back in 2011, having already worked as a taxi driver since 2008. After a break from the company in 2013, we were thrilled to welcome him back nine years later in 2022.
With full-time experience at Stagecoach, Neil brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role. He has a real passion for driving, is always polite and well-mannered, and has a great sense of humour. Neil is incredibly hard-working and never hesitates to take on those early morning journeys — even the ones most people would avoid!
Born in Grimsby, Neil is a true local with excellent knowledge of the area. He’s deeply family-oriented, incredibly loyal, and always puts his loved ones first. He’s also one of my closest friends, which makes working alongside him not only easier but genuinely enjoyable.
> The photo above is from when Neil and I did a bungee jump together last summer — definitely a step out of his comfort zone! He even got an unexpected dunk in the Salford Quays… oops! 🤣
About Me – Allan at Caistor Taxis
I founded Caistor Taxis in 2009 while living in Rothwell — I was just 21 at the time. Being young, I’ve made my fair share of mistakes, but every one of them helped me grow and move forward. I've always had a strong passion for this job, and that passion still drives me today.
During the pandemic, I genuinely missed seeing our customers and the general public. My love for the job has never been stronger. I enjoy meeting both familiar and new faces, and I’ve always been someone who can strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere.
While Angie may be the face you see more often on day-to-day journeys, I manage much of the behind-the-scenes work — from handling emails and social media enquiries to organising contract work and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Originally from Keighley, West Yorkshire, I moved to Lincolnshire in 2005 and have never looked back. The people here are among the friendliest you could ever meet. Since moving to Caistor in 2011, I’ve come to love this town deeply. There’s a real community spirit — everyone knows everyone, and even strangers will stop for a chat like they’ve known you for years. Much of that is thanks to the Caistor Lions, who organise fantastic events and keep the town looking pristine. They do an amazing job.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my children, watching Bradford City (and sometimes even Grimsby Town!), going for walks, photography, holidays, and spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy discovering new places and have a real passion for food.
Please note:
All drivers work on a self-employed basis, so any payments made go directly to them.
